Hipporu: On the third day, we went down to Ikea to get the necessary.. like QUILTS, bed sheets, stools.. So we left home and headed down to our train station - The Berala Station. Waited for quite awhile before our train arrived at the platform.

And we all wondered if we were to wait for 20min for a train in Singapore, all of us would be cursing and swearing. However, here in Sydney, we waited quietly and admired the scenery around us...

SiL: First we did some light grocery shopping at Bi-Lo... got some cheap pails ($1 each) as dustbins in our rooms; got amazed at the huge, beautiful and fresh fruits and vegetables. Then we headed to Ikea for almost the whole day.

And the thing one must always do at Ikea is to eat! Haha.We took a break from all that shopping at Ikea for lunch.
Hipporu: Got home and changed into home wear, and we quickly settled down to assemble our stools. We didnt have any screwdrivers nor pliers, and had to rely on zhen's set of mini screwdrivers. In the end, ALL our stools were NOT stable for sitting! But well.. we tried our best.

And that night too, we did our first laundry at home. Took some time to figure out how to use the high tech washing machine. Added in our washing liquid and softener, waited for 2 hours, and realised that we did not have enough laundry racks around! Had to rely on the wooden chairs to do the job. So, that night, even though we bought stools, we were chairless in the room. Knelt on the floor to use the computers...
